The order guide is not always correct. The current order guide is dated from May 15th. The info I stated in my post #16 is accurate. Just to expand on that, I was not able to order the spare tire with my 2024 X4 M40i,because I ordered the 19"AS runflat tires. The order guide allows me to build the car with it, but when the dealer entered the order it was rejected more than once. Once they called BMW they were told their is a shortage of the spares and they are only available with non-runflat tires!.

I placed an order last week or the week before, and I was told to expect 5-6 weeks until delivery. I still don’t have a production date using the F12 trick. Only time will tell. Not super stressed about it, every additional paycheck from now til then is just a larger down payment, so I’m not in a huge rush (but I hope these interest rates don’t keep going up!)

I have had numerous BMW's over the past 15 years. The car I just sold was a 2020X4 M40! with the 19" all season runflats. I was very happy with them and they are a big improvement from the earlier run flats. Our 2017 3 series with runflats are very noisy and have less than 15000 miles on them

Yes, 150 equals to entered the production queue 👍 once you hit 150, thing will move fast until you reach the step where it says something like "waiting to be dispatch or waiting for the carrier". Mine stuck on that step for 2 weeks last year when I purchased a 2023. Because they were just short on trucks. Hopefully things get better this year.

My 24 X4 M40i has been listed as Production Begins for about 11 days now(supposed to be week 31 production). I got a call from my CA yesterday telling me that mine is on EPA hold so he can’t get me PCD dates yet. Seems odd that the status on the website still hasn’t changed??

He stumbled through an explanation, but what I got out of it is, because it’s an early 24, they have to make sure it hits the same epa standards as the 23? I’m not positive that is accurate. I did call the BMW 800 number and that person didn’t know anything about a hold, but I didn’t get a real feeling of confidence from their tone.

I have been on these forums for many years. This is what I recommend you can do. Call or visit your dealer. Have him print out your current "Vehicle Inquiry Design/MSRP report". He gets this online from his computer. This will list your VIN, Production number, Priority (should be priority 1 customer sold) and should have your name as the customer. and everything that the car will have built in to it including colors, options etc. Also will have production status (should be 150) at this point. Mine says on the left side near the top "Holds:Release" This is very useful to see and verify everything is correct. I did this a couple of weeks ago and found an error that they were still able to fix as the status was still 111. Once it gets to 150 it's to later for changes
