Here's a clue...if the boot has two cargo clips one on the right and one on the left and two chrome rail adjusters and the floor panel is flush with the skid plate it doesn't have a space saver. If it has a three inch rise and one cargo clip it has a spare. Here's my car...

There is a slight overhang. The mat has a downward curve which fits over the rise. Its reasonably tight fitting. There is no movement of the mat at all. Stays in place securely hat way.

The canvasbacks are awesome. Have one in my wife's X1. Nothing fits better.
Question though on this new X3 one: I don't see an opening for the 12V power outlet on the right side, nor the pop out hooks on either side. Does the actual liner come with access holes? Nevermind! They addressed this in the description: To provide optimum protection, we have covered the hooks on both sides as well as the 12V power adaptor on the passenger side. If you need either of these accessible please let us know in the comments section at check out, by email or phone. |

the generic weather tech liner is good for the price and allows you to customize with a pair of sturdy scissors
Folks that want to be able to cut a space for cargo anchors can do so with the generic weather tech As usual their liners for the driver foot well area is spot on perfect |

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MDKXQLF
I bought the 40" version. This is not showing up on the Amazon product listing right now, they must be out of stock. 1) Cheap 2) Wide enough to cover the cargo area but leave enough on the sides so that the anchors are accessible 3) Lightweight so that lifting the hidden cargo area under the floor isn't difficult 4) Good sized lips so that water or other liquids don't run off |

These look like Manicci's.
http://www.manicci.com/product/manic...ot-liner-mats/ They seem to get good reviews. I just found them after seeing that picture. |

Kungfuliu - That cover looks really great. not sure that I would use it for going to the garden centre, but maybe I could borrow my son's Tacoma for that.
I think that I may fire up the woodworking tools and make one of these (no leather in my case I prefer to work with good veneers, perhaps a French polish): |

Here are some quick pics.
It's still a bit warped from shipping. But the material will relax over time. It's pretty flexible. On a nice sunny day, I'll leave it outside for an hour or two, that should fix it. Or just ignore it as it's a cargo mat. The price fluctuates on Amazon. I paid $34.34 for it. |

My last car was a 2014 X5. I had the BMW cargo mat for that. It was heavy duty and fully covered the back space. However, to lift the floor was a two-handed operation. All I carry in the back is my hockey gear, my kids' hockey gear, and an occasional load that could be messy - like the bags of sand for the basketball net. I don't need anything super duty. To each their own though. |
