I have never, ever heard this. Ever.

It has over double the rigidity (past super car levels) of the convertible which has about the same as an e46 M3 (which is less then the new e90s). This makes a canyon sized difference in steering response. Edit: also try and drive a roadster with a strut bar equipped, that also makes a very surprising improvement.

I can't agree more with what O-cha and Crimson are saying. You have to try the M Coupe out. My god, what a car. I lapped it for some good while around the Spartanburg circuit and the thing was above and beyond what I was expecting in terms of handling and feel. The steering has perfect levels of weight and resistance, and the tail came out so progressively that even my then-amateur oversteer experience lent me enough capability to handle its ass without any hiccups. Driving that thing is like shooting up heroin, or at least what I'd expect it to be like.

It's hard to compare the Vette's handling behavior anyways, considering the massive difference in footprint and wheelbase between the two.

Ok, I will have to find a Z4M Coupe to drive.

I have said in another thread somewhere, I think the Z4Mc is going to be a star of classic car shows some day.

No we've just talked it up to much and his expectations are too high. Ski mask, the car is shit, sloppy as hell, but you should still test drive one.

Agreed that the Z4MC is pretty freakin awesome. It made me feel like I didn't really need a ton more power.

My next car will most likely be a C7.

All I can say is if you do buy a GS make sure to set aside some extra cash for the extra tires you are going to buy. The GS just shreds through them. Because of this I would consider the base vette unless you track your cars then the GS is a must.

agreed. Everything is just so perfect, it would be hard for me to go FI just for more power for fear of throwing off how perfect the feel is. the Z4MC is a car of feels, not necessarily the fastest or best handling but i would argue that there is nothing that offers a better all around feel.
