anyone have any pics of what the M6 rims look like on the X3? I definitely am considering picking up a pair of these...
should I assume that all these replica websites sell casted not forged rims? |

I'd love to see pics of the M6 rims on the X3 as well, maybe a photoshop job?
If the sizing/fitment would work for the X3, I'll surely be picking up a set of them to compliment the M sport package

I spoke with a rep at **********s and the 20" M6 style wheels will fit the X3. They are available in 8.5/9.5 staggered widths or 8.5 all around or 9.5 all around. The offset is +35. What widths would you all go with?
FYI, the total cost is ~$2500 (wheels w/ tires and TPMS sensors mounted + shipping).

I've looked into it more, and believe I'll go with the 8.5" width all around w/ +35 offset. I think the 9.5" in the rear w/ that offset may be an issue w/ rubbing
For 20" tires w/ 8.5" width, I'm looking at 245/40-20 to keep the overal tire diameter as close to factory as possible so the speedo will not be thrown off

http://www.venommotorsports.com/libr...calculator.asp I prefer the more aggressive look of wider tires, and wheels should also move out closer to the fenders. This improves what we(euro tuners) call "stance". A fat wheel and tire should sit as close as possible to the fenders. This is what I got playing with sizes for the TSW Nurburgrings I am considering. I believe with a Tire & Wheel Outboard increase (inches): Front 0.958 and Rear 0.261, there should be no rubbing. The speedo should also not be thrown off. Stock Sport F 8.5x19 245/45/19 38 R 9.5x19 275/40/19 48 vs. TSW Nurburgring F 9.0x20 275/35/20 35 R 9.0x20 275/35/20 35 Front Ride height difference (inches):-0.05 Wheel Inboard increase (inches):0.131 Wheel Outboard increase (inches):0.368 Tire & Wheel Inboard increase (inches):0.721 Tire & Wheel Outboard increase (inches):0.958 Rear Ride height difference (inches):-0.04 Wheel Inboard increase (inches):-0.761 Wheel Outboard increase (inches):0.261 Tire & Wheel Inboard increase (inches):-0.761 Tire & Wheel Outboard increase (inches):0.261 Of course "stance" is a personal preference. I also am not an engineer, but there are minimal aftermarket installs on this forum so I decided to research a bit myself. I look forward to any input good or bad. This is what stance looks like on a e92. The wheels and tires are almost flush with the fenders. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=424758 Of course there are more extreme drops and wheels sitting flush, but those are show cars and take away in performance. |

The M6 replica wheels are on a 6 week backorder, and I'm probably going to order them in a couple weeks, so its going to be a few months before I have any pics

I should have the M6 reps in about a week's time. Got Hakka R SUV 225 55 18. Will take picture although we don't have snow yet. Today 16c with evening close to 0. Will hit single digit highs and sub zero lows end of week.

Ugh...here we go. The cold and snow can stay away for a while more here...I am being spoiled by the unusally warm fall!

OUCH! Sometimes I feel spoiled living in FL, still 85 degrees and sunny!
Where did you get your 18" M6 replica wheels from? Make sure to post pics up in this thread once you install them!
