What a wild story! When I was picked up from the airport, I felt a tapping and slapping sound from the front passenger wheel. We pulled over, I checked both front tires and felt the steel cords. This is @ 5 pm, and we scrambled to find a shop with anything 21" and found a shop near the CA/MX border. He paid for the used set, and I was on my way.

The entire history of this babe is wild!

The previous owner took very good care of her besides the tires. My business card(little pocket? and home garage settings were still active. Good guy all together.

I've never seen a tire that bad on the inside tread. What in the world did the previous owner drive on... ? Glad you're back safe & he took good care of this car (despite the tire issue.

I never got an alignment after the H&R Springs install and suggested he do it. Camber issue. Anyway, It's getting taken care of @ Matrix Integrated in Portland along with the wheels/tire combo I purchased from Bmock17

Btw, Bmock17 is an awesome person.

I've just never seen a tire get worn down that severely in one concentrated area. Was that on the inside or the outside of the tread pattern... ?
