Seems a popular mod this.........
These are the tyre sizes I'm going with for my new wheels also.😉

Technically yes. You could have a situation where they try to claim the tire size change caused a problem. Lets say you're differential started to make noise and they didn't want to deal with it so the blame it on your tire swap. Comes down to the service department you use. Then you'll have to fight to get things fixed or take it to another dealer and hope for an actual diagnosis.

Exactly, me either. Not quite trusting yet...maybe after the factory tires, but mine has already been down for a lot of warranty work on the engine in the first 1k miles...it’s been good for the next 1k, but still only 2k miles on it so not that much time to gain the confidence. My dealer was great, so I don’t think they’d do anything shady, but still a little nervous about needing warranty.

On top of more tire, no more skittish handling over bumps. Rides a lot better too. Always get the Michelin’s.
Edit- I’ll add they wear better too. My contis were 2/3rds worn at 6k miles

Now if you changed the ratio (OEM is 1.0099:1) then you could argue premature wear to the vehicle. For reference the 255/40 and 295/35 is 1.0033:1. I wouldn't do 265/40 front as that makes the front tire larger in diameter than the rear tire, which is the opposite of the stock sizes. |

Rim Width Range (Min/Max) 10.00" - 11.50" That is straight from Michelin's website for the 295/35/21. |

Yes, using the 295 rear and 255 front would create a ratio that would be close to the factory ratio, while still having the rear tires be larger in diameter than the front (just like the factory setup). If you went to a 265/40 front 295/35 rear then your front tires are now larger in diameter than your rear.

Oh ok, so we're talking real minor differences that don't really have an impact. Gotcha. Thanks!
