Probably cleaning up the line up since models can come come as a CS model now. I mean it wouldn't make sense to have a heavy car like this as a CS model though. *cough M5 *cough

I'm with you. I would just add the sport seats for $2k and spend $5k+ at my shop for hand-picked upgrades. Most won't though.

I wonder if this means the death of the separate competition models across the BMW lineup? It would be nice if BMW could decide what business model they're going to use and just stick to it.
Do you want to use the Audi model or the Mercedes model? Maybe just go back to the way things were where everything was just cohesive? |

Does the 2021 X3M with comp pkg have the competition badge on the rear? I think it is ugly.
I am thinking of removing it when we pick up our car this weekend.

Yeah, it's too bad. The European X3M models have the tow hitch option, why not US? My US build X3 M40i has the factory tow hitch, so clearly they can do it on the US build X3M as well. These vehicles are all built in the same plant. It doesn't make any sense.

Diffuser is like the one on the M8, the center part is gloss plastic, the portion around the exhaust is CF. Mine is sitting at the dealership waiting to be installed.

Adding the M drivers pack deletes the pano roof entirely? So slick top? If so, that's great.

I came from a '19 M40i with ventilated seats (and lost the sport seats in the process). Had i known I would have been downgraded by that upgrade, I wouldn't have opted for them. I too had the factory hitch on my M40i and was initially disappointed that BMW didn't offer one on the Full M offering when I upgraded later. I found the stealth hitch to be an even better solution for me. In my opinion, it is much more attractive (no receiver square hole or cover on my tail), and it actually has a higher tow rating than my factory hitch did on my M40i. Also, their direct connection without a receiver makes for a very solid trailer connection with absolutely zero horizontal play unlike when I towed with my M40i and used a receiver with a pin which always introduced a little bit of play. Anyway, I'm a very happy customer with this solution.
