That would be OK IMO. It would then be first time you get "less" and pay less. Usually hard-core road-legal track cars with less are more expensive (Cayman R for example). And the 4C has still "more" than an Elise, which really outdated.

I don't disagree with that, but I'm not sure anything else would be appropriate. It has CF chassis, any better interior would add weight and increase price. Someone buying such a car does not buy it for its expensive interior but for its driving capabilities. If it is for it, what I doubt, I honestly think you could find better quality interiors at Audi, Porsche or Lamborghini (Aventador). Low production numbers, and latest pricing info is over $80k - carbon fiber was way more expensive than planned. Wouldn't be surprised if actual US prices are even higher because of tiney supply.

You wouldn't get a 458 for its interior, but it's not like it a crappy kit car fittings either. I've had the opportunity to sit in one and it's proper quality in there, with nice lashings of premium leather and everything was put together pretty solidly. Modern Ferraris are pretty nice places to be in.

Be happy Ferrari has improved its interior. Leather/Alcantara/Stitching has never been a issue on italian cars. It was fit and the quality of plastic. Look at the Maserati GT, perfect interior quality, only a bunch of cheap (looking?) plastic.

Italians aren't known for their interior, true. But, the old Alfa GT 1.8 i used to roll in in my college days had a much better looking place to be in. The interior of 4C is not only cheap made, it's cheap looking as well. The head unit looks like the stuff come from Chinese companies. The frame around it, Is that really necessary? Looks awfully cheap. The vents. Can you say Dacia Logan?

You may think i'm spoiled with quality and such, but actually i'm not. I'm all about having a spartan car. If Ferrari let me i would opt for a much lighter one piece CF dash. In a car that costs as much as a Cayman S, you should be able to have at least a better looking interior (not better made, better looking).

The look isn't what i expect from Alfa, the engine isn't that exciting, the DCT only kills it for me, the interior is not nice and the price tag is huge. I don't like to say it but i think this car will be a failure.

I won't disagree with the fact that the interior is cheap looking. I just close an eye and look at the positive things like the weight, the engine. Lack of manual is almost a dealbraker for me. I'm waiting for final price. I will admit I'm biased, because it is so long I'm waiting for something new from Alfa, that is RWD. Of course such quality will be inacceptable for the Giulia which is to rival the 3 Series, C Class, A4, XS, IS and Q50.

Looks like a Lotus Elise interior. If its going to be barebones I guess its fine.

The design looks so modern it makes you feel as though the interior should have followed suit but I'm okay with it.

Any chance this is a Launch Interior only?
