Rob,
I moved from a GM vehicle to a 35i and improved both my fuel economy and my cost of fuel - both while moving from 87 octane to 93 octane. Run your own numbers. |

Driving style has a lot to do with actual MPG achieved, but you can still treat the EPA numbers as relative guides. That is to say, a heavy footed driver in a X3 35i would still do (on average) about 7% worse than the same driver in an X3 28i. They're both fantastic cars for every day driving, but the 35i flat hauls ass.
We ended up loading up a 28i and saving a few thousand by going with a 28i over the 35i, only because we have two cars, and one is always a sporty car (my 135i, for example). The grocery getter doesn't need to be a hot rod, but I do like it to get out of its own way. We waited for the N20 for that very reason. The X3 28i is as fast (0-60 MPH) as a VW GTI. That's not bad.

ROBNYC, you can enter the last 7 digit of the VIN# into this site and it will give you all the options on that car, http://bmwvin.com/ , sign up is free.
As far as ASS, BMW started installing them on both the X3 28i and the 35i the later half of the 2012 model year. |

If you want Xenon, buy the car with Xenon. I made a mistake with my e90, I thought I can add it later but it will cost me more plus the headache of converting it & the coding. Those headlights are adaptive, if it fails then you're screwed because it is not covered under warranty since it doesn't come with the car you bought.

I believe the professional HiFi system is the standard system, not the premium sound. To figure out if it has cold weather package, look for the heated steering wheel option. To figure out if it has premium, look for leather seat or 4 way lumber support. |

Trying to decide between these 2, the dealer just got these in so they're waiting to update with pictures and price. I was able to chat via email with the Client Advisor and he sent me the Window Sticker for each.

I'd go for the M Sport version as I personally think it looks much better, I'm not a fan of black plastic. Also the Carbon Black with Nevada Black interior will look superb. But at the end of the the day it's all down to personal choice, test drives and inspection of each of them.

Thanks
Both of these were sold within this week, so I decided instead of buying I will be leasing. Now debating on whether to build my own (wait & pay more) or try to negotiate with dealer something loaded with my interested options for a lesser price & have it in my hands right away (sold my car 3 weeks ago)

2) Email your config to David BMW requesting a quote: http://www.bmwdavid.com/#!contact 3) Pick your mouth up off the floor after you see how good the price is 4) Sit back and relax while your car is made Because the X3 is made in the US, delivery times really aren't all that bad. The savings you'll get going through someone like David (he's a forum sponsor, btw) are well worth the wait. If you can swing it (time off work, etc), I'd definitely recommend doing PCD (performance center delivery) as well. We did PCD for our X3, and it was an absolute blast.

The sport/eco pro button have 3 modes, sport comfort and eco, whereas the other one only have 2 mode, sport and comport. The eco mode version also comes with auto start atop.
