Also my dealer confirmed individual colours won't be available because the car is made in Spartanburg and they don't have the special request program over there.
When will we see more rim options? or do we think it stays with these 2?. |

I just personally like to have an idea how substantial the LCI updates might be especially if they're not that far down the road. I get that you will always be chasing the next model, whether it be LCI or complete model updates, but it doesn't hurt to have more information when making a $80k+ purchase. |

Production starts in April, will hit lots in June, selling starting in July, so I would guess April/May sometime if previous models reviews in the past 2/3 years remains consistent.

I'm very excited about both! Still got a couple years till my M40i lease is up, but certainly will be looking at these!
Am I the only one that is surprised by the badge placement? For 2019, they moved the badges to the bottom of the door and I like this better. Now on these, it's back up to the middle (below the glass). I wish they had kept it at the bottom like the 2019 models. |

Have they listed the tow capacity of the X3M yet?
I looked for it, but might have missed it?

Note: X3 M40i is 2400kg with optional tow bar, or 2000kg without.

So what's next? X3M/X4M GTS? CSL?
A limited run "starbucks package" that includes extra large cup holders with M badges? A special roll cage with M stripes as a preventive measure for those hardcore sprints at the stoplight? M division probably roll their eyes too at this M massacre, but hey when the big marketing boys upstairs want M for their starbucks trips they have to listen... |

Second, if you knew me in real life you'd know I always take jabs at my own car whenever the M topic comes about, I call it my little "special-needs M". I'd wish BMW would've gone a different route in regards to M badges but hey it is what it is, one can only joke, laugh or gasp in horror. Don't get me wrong I like the direction BMW took in regards to the X3/X4, but come on... M and Competition don't belong in these and the absence of these status and badges doesn't take away at what might be very outstanding SUV's. Apparently I offended the first guy that tried to take a jab at me since maybe I described his daily starbucks and red stoplight racing routine all too well? But worry not! I'm headed down to the BMW dealership to buy him a nice plush M branded towel... I'll let you figure out for what. |

I don't mind it either that BMW is making high performance versions of the base X3/X4 nor the other big brothers. But if it were up to me I'd brand them as that, "Performance" versions and I'd keep the status of M, Competition, CSL, GTS, etc for the true hardcore double duty M cars. But hey it's not my decision so I can only comment and share my views. |
