Cerium delete on the grills and the side vents. Mirror caps from Autotecknic on the way but there is a slight delay but here it is for now!

Picked up my 2019 X4 M40i on Monday, one week of ownership and the mods are starting. Package from IND arrived yesterday for the Cerium Delete.

Rear Diffuser question,

Saw this on Ebay, seller has 100% satisfaction rating, looks very clean.

Thoughts? anyone have links to their rear diffuser? Getting Maxton front splitter and rear roof spoiler ordered soon.

Just got her.... Took her to the dump to get some chores done (and let her warm up) and then did the first canyon run. DAMN! This thing is insane for a practical SUV. It should not handle like that...yet here were are

Carbon Black 2019 with adaptive suspension and m sport rear diff

Got black out covers for the fender vents, mirror caps are on the way. Once I put the mirror caps on I'll move to the grill. I'll tackle the boomerangs last.

Installed DinanTronics Sport tuner and a Remus responder pedal tuner on my 20 X3 M40I. I have a 17 M240i also with the Remus and a Dinan Stage 1. Both of these cars are awesome!

How do you find the car now with these two mods? I also have a '20 so waiting on warranty expiring mostly before tuning + I've barely driven it due to COVID…just ticked over 3100kms

Pry from the outside. Once you see where y look can do it, it's easy. The replacements had clips too so pop them on and go

Seconding the -from the outside- method^. Folded the mirrors in and getting underneath the side nearest to the car was very easy. It sounds a little concerning, but all the clips held well and came out easy.
New ones popping in was piece of cake.

Ease of swap:
side vents > front grille > side mirrors >>>>> boomerangs

Hi! Just took delivery of a 2022 X3 xD30i last week. I'd like to add a couple of items to start: a rubber/all-weather mat for the cargo area and a dashcam. Looking for recommendations.

For the mat, does BMW make an OEM rubber cargo mat? If so, is there an online site with better prices than dealership's parts department? Thanks in advance!

If you have the front and side cameras already on the car you can purchase a software update for BMW Drive Recorder. This constantly records a 360 degree video and saves up to 20 secs before and after an event is triggered. It only works while the car is on, so no parking mode.

The alternative is a traditional dashcam and BMW does the Advanced Eye 2.0, which uses radar to detect motion during parking mode with a claimed 24 hour cover period. Be aware that any dashcam that draws power from the car after the car is off may be detected as a parasitic drain, and throw up power management errors and/or start to disable systems. There is a workaround that involves installing additional batteries, but that can be expensive and may involve taking more trim off your new car.

Replaced my cerium mirror caps with some M-style gloss blacks (cheapos from eBay, but they fit and look good)

Some before and after below. Also looks like someone who built my car signed the factory mirror caps! Its like AMG style haha
