I am starting to think that with certain color finishes they have issues. Mine had good amount of blemishes on the paint. Supposedly they are sending me two new ones but we will see it’s been weeks.

Mine also had a lot of blemishes and markings that I’m not going to bother taking/uploading photos of them as again, these’ll do just fine for some beaters until I can find a set of 21’s I like

That’s what I’d hoped at first. There’s 4 separate boxes. 2 are 47 lbs and 2 are 49 lbs.

I complained enough and they are sending 2 wheels to replace the blemished ones. Hope these are better, at least now I have a spare and a coffee table.

Oddly enough I got a random message from someone at xywheel on WhatsApp.

The sales rep I was dealing with is gone so they’re trying to make things right now.

My replacement wheels have finally arrived! Can't wait to open the boxes but I'm still in Japan on vacation. My neighbor has them stacked in his garage. I've been working with James Cao at xywheel and he has been outstanding in making sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend speaking to James for anything you need. I'll be getting a set for my G30 real soon.

There was one member that had them make a 2 pc wheel and they look good but the deep dish was not to his licking. They charge extra for the process. I think you can see the feedback in the other wheel thread.

Yeah they had to do 2pc because of the "deep dish". IMO they looked good.

The 22” forged wheels I ordered off EBay arrived and were boat anchors (42+ lbs each). I asked BKU to quote me on their lightest set and orders them today. Should be just under 30 lbs each.

Well it took some time and a whole lot of patience, but the new wheels and tires are finally installed. BBS CC-R 20x10 square ET25 with 275-40-20 DWS06+. I need to drive a few miles to get the TPMS to reset but all is well and no rubbing.

This set from BKU is going to shave 70 pounds of unsprung weight off of my forged Chinese OEM clone set up from eBay. That includes 18 pounds saved in a switch up of the tires.

Has anyone done 19s from this seller? Curious as to how that would look as well.

Noticed most if not all of the 20s went with +25 instead of something lower. Is this a fitment issue with being on springs and rubbing the fender?

I chose et25 for the stance.

If I go full lock when back into a parking spot or pulling a U turn, I get some fender rub but nothing alarming.

Also have to be mindful of any significant dips or waves in pavement at higher speeds.

There's one particular spot on my commute where the roadway is like a roller coaster for an 1/8 mile that causes alot of repeated suspension travel. If I go over 50 the front end travel causes the outer fender wells to bump the tires.

Understood. I assume this is because of the drop from the springs?

I haven’t fully decided on what to do for the next season as winter is approaching here, so figured I’d do some research now.

As of now no plans on lowering, unless I could convince my wife as it’s her primary car.

Was debating between 19x9.5 +20 initially or following the 20” variant as people are doing here, but then I also noticed the offset variance and got curious.

I was seeing most people buying 15mm spacers for stock wheels, but those were more narrow like 7.5”. (We have the 19x7.5 887M)
