I've been a customer of theirs for a year with zero problems flashing over a dozen times different OTS tunes. I was worried a recent DME update might have complicated things, but their tech support intervened with some previously unrequired additional steps and resolved everything. Go for it!

Did they have to remove ecu? I had BM3 on my f80 m3 but I just want to make sure it works on the latest ECU software for 2020 x3m. |

Member of “The 700 Club” thanks to a custom E50 tune by F80 Paul 😉. Despite the big numbers (638 whp = 714 bhp with 12% dt loss or 733 bhp with 15% dt loss), it is incredible how smooth this tune is. Smoother than the OTS maps and absolutely compatible with daily driving. Happy Holidays!

He gives you a base map, you flash, log, send him the log, and he sends you an update. Four to seven updates. A tedious process, but well worth it. Logs are very clean.

The dynojet numbers are pretty much identical. There shouldn’t be much difference.

Is no one concerned about losing the warranty on such an expensive drive train? I can't imagine what major (or minor) repairs would cost. I was told that any tuning will absolutely void the warranty.

Just curious other than mission performance- did the BM3 team ever figure out how to tune the X3M to selectable RWD instead of only AWD?

And while we're asking random questions: Do you have to re-gap the spark plugs for bootmod? Looks like you do for mission performance.
