I ordered my new BMW X3 last week. The dealer said it would take 45 days for the car to get delivered but I found out from the BMW Genius that my car is not scheduled for production until mid of March. The current status of the car is "order received".

Got a nice little chunk of metal in my left rear tire today. Looks like I'm on my way to having a new windshield and a new tire (if not 2) this week.

Recently got a lightly used 2019 30i with 14k miles on it. Mineral white with oyster interior. Did my usual new car detail - clay bar, polish, IPA wipe, 3 coats of opti-coat.
Also installed a stealth hitch since we'll be towing a teardrop camper trailer. Very high quality piece using the OEM wiring harness. Looking forward to seeing how the X3 tows. |

Couldn't find the tires in stock with discount tire so I took it to the dealership in hopes they would have some on hand for replacement today. Both rear tires will need to be replaced due to the wear on them. Dealership had to order some but they are arriving by end of day and I'll be on my way sometime tomorrow. Dealership prices are more than I'd like to pay but we also needed a loaner car as we are currently down to one car right now so it is what it is I guess. 🤷🏻

Cleaned the cockpit, dash, console and door trim panels. Killing the boredom of sitting inside with 1 deg F outdoor temps.

I've heard of it, but tech did not have to recalibrate my vehicles (an X1 & an X3) so not sure why some do & some don't - both vehicles operated as expected after the windscreens were replaced

I had a res-delete done yesterday. $125. I had it done on my '19 M40i a couple of years ago as well. Great cold start and deeper sound once warmed up

Correct, resonator. I opted for two straight pipes vs. "X" pipe

No, sorry. Vehicle was on the hoist obviously and I wasn't permitted in the shop (covid). In any case, google f97 exhaust pics. The resonator was cut out and replaced with two straight pipes...super straight forward. Took less than 40mins
