Same... the LUX really made a difference in the old style Angel Eyes, on my 08 X5.

I really don’t get the yellow drl’s. I think they look terrible, just my opinion. What is wrong with stock, they look fantastic.

but yeah, BMW M changed all that with the M5CS as well as the M4 CSL. yellow is in. again.
The GP Thunder 7500k! Blast from the past. I never would have remembered that name if it didn’t come up here. Here’s mine in the Stage 3 Dinan E92.

Were you able to do this without removing the bumper and just accessing through the wheel well?

Yes, but you have to unscrew the headlights and pull the forward. The passenger side outer module is more of a pain than the driver’s side. I watched a lot of different youtube videos on installing BMW DRL’s.

Followed the instructions from someone else to wire the power to one of the two main output power wires on the distribution block to the right of the battery and works great.

Overall, in my opinion it’s the correct supliment of bass that the factory should have had. It won’t win any SPL awards, but for under $900 all in, and hour of my Sunday to wire, and completely hidden from view while retaining cargo space, it’s a major win

Looks great
Is 20% the tint that matches the factory privacy glass on the rear windows?

My 2023 measured slightly over 20% on the rear windows according to my tint place, I think the number was 22%. I went with 35% because I thought 20% was too dark and no complaints. It doesn't match perfect to the rears but still pretty close.

Thanks for the info. Any pics? Looking to do something similar. I do like to try and match the back, but also don't want it too dark. Need to find that middle point for privacy and protection and not pissing off the local PD and still being able to see.

Go with 20% for the perfect match. 35% is a nice (I have that on my F36) but it won't match the rear. I wanted 35% but the tint shop has done a dozen X3M and X4M and stated that 20% is the perfect match. With the 20% it may look lighter in the day because of the light that comes in from the windshield, but at night it's dark.

Here are 2 photos

In this lighting you can see that the 35% in front actually looks pretty close to the rear.

Thank you for posting the photo.
I agree that it looks very close and love the overall look on your car.
Once our car arrives, we'll be doing similar and I'll be sure to post it up.

The tint really does a nice job of contrasting to the BGM color. It's almost a necessity for aesthetics, if not for function.

That does look really good. I have 35% on my car but it looks darker because it's so small. I'm sure 35% on an SUV will look a lot lighter. I'll see what my installer recommends since different companies have different tint options. I think he's still using Suntek for ceramic tint which has a 30% option.

I got an appointment within a week of getting the car. No tint on the front 2 windows was terrible haha.

I hear that. It would drive us crazy. I've already reached out to my installer for PPF and tint so he knows it's coming. Once I have a firm date on arrival and pickup, I'll firm up the appt date. Then drive it home from the dealer via surface roads to reduce the likelihood of any damage from the freeway's, which are a mess from the winter madness we've been dealing with.

H&R springs went on - really pleased with the difference so far, and from a limited amount of seat time, ride quality appears to even have improved

Looking good!

Can anyone with some time do a write up on installing these without removing the front bumper? I’ve had the modules for a couple weeks now, no chance in installing them since the weather has either been frigid or just plain sh*t. Thanks in advance!

Did you DIY? I need to install mine soon. Curious how bad it is.
