Definitely go for a heat rejection film. You don't need to go dark to get good heat rejection effects from tint. Very worth it. You will not feel the heat of the sun on your skin through the windows.

Good to know that, I thought those are only for house windows, didn't know cars also have this kind of stuff.

Dropped it off at the dealer for a windshield replacement after owning it only 3 weeks. They gave me an X1 for a loaner and got almost 40 mpg on the 40 mile highway drive home. Kinda crazy.

Put the winter tires on and installed BMW floating center caps.

As I applied Gyeon Q2 rim protection on the summer 20" rimy, they cleaned very easily.

My wife and I picked up her new 2021 X3M40i via SC PCD a few weeks back and drove it back home through the mountains to Indiana. Love this car!

I got it back from a week at my local detailer where he did paint correction (the paint was actually very good from the factory), full front/rockers/rear splash STEK PPF and Modesta Ceramic Coating everywhere, calipers and wheels included! The glacier silver is beautiful and well protected.

Anyone tinted the front windows and used a 25-28%? I had 20 on my last bmw and it was too dark, imo.

Trying to decide on the front window tints to match the rear well but not too dark.

Thats where I'm at too. I saw someone on here with 20% on the front windows and it looked very close to the rest of the car. This is likely what I will go with. I cant imagine 25-30% looking much different from the rear windows as well.

Be careful as this will affect the instrument panel. Sat Nav, Reverse camera, when you move from sunlight into shade everything dims, it is really annoying as at time the speed is barely visible and as far as I am concerned - dangerous, BMW UK are fully aware and accept my comments, but refuse to create a fix

Are you saying that the tint affects the screen brightness? Any luck with 30%? I was planing to get ceramic tint, as usual. Does that help here at all or is it just light filtering that causes the issue?

Sorry, no, I have not gotten around to installing it yet.

Edit: It is the same as comber's post (#30) in this thread with CF only around the iDrive controller.

Ok.
My only mistake also was to order piano black interior... Better I stayed with original M-sport interior...

Added RaceChip GTS for 2018 X3 G01 and went for a 200 miles zoom zoom. What a different beast !! Recommended. I was going to get X3M but .... after RaceChip... I think I can leave that itch for a while.

Highly recommend .. get it from Ben ( RGSport )

Visited Paul @ PCW in the UK for my exhaust mods
2 resonators and back box modded and I’m very happy.

Now thinking about the OPF filter and maybe soon a completely new Backbox (Remus...?)
