Estimated Completion moved a day earlier to 18 Oct according to Genius.

Vehicle is still in “production begins” status since the 5th.

While my CA had confirmed it, last night I downloaded the Build Sheet and nothing is missing from the order which included the HUD, ADAP, Sirius, H/K, Cockpit Pro, Shadow Line Trim, Towing Pkg and a bunch of smaller options.

The only things listed as "removed" were the Digital Key and Passenger Seat Lumbar/Width Adjustment

So new vehicles are only 1-2 months out?

Yep, US build West Coast.

Got an additional update from the dealership today that "the X3’s, X4’s and 4-Series will not have Driver’s Assistance Plus or Professional. This is a standing deletion until, at least, the end of the year."

So now i've had to cancel my order. My current 2017 Ford Escape has adaptive cruise in it and its been invaluable in traffic jams so i cant reasonably order a new 2022 BMW that doesnt come with that feature.

There is quite a few people that got it within a month. Like mine was in production in the same week. My dealership was the 1st BMW dealership in Canada so I'm guessing that they have more allocation then other dealership in small market. Probably the longest operation will be the delivery portion.

We looked at a lot of cars and could not believe how limited ACC was on most of the BMW models. Essential option for my wife. Im glad we pulled the triggertt in late August on a more fully loaded M40i. It was built (US East Coast) in week early - mid Sept and we picked it up in Spartanburg on 29 Sept. Only drops were passenger seat lumbar/bolster..

On the mygarage.bmwusa website it doesn't look like any of my options that I selected have been removed. I called the genius line yesterday and they didn't see anything removed on their end.

For some reason my car didn't leave until 10/11 and got to the dealership on 10/13. I got it today with all the options except passenger side width & lumbar, digital key. Also it didn't have drivers side width adjustment. I was not surprised as others posted here with cognac leather didn't have it as well. Other than that, I'm happy with the new ride.

Beautiful! I got the alpine white also with cognac and originally chose the jet black wheels but then I felt like it was too much black and switched to the 2 tone. I like how it looks now seeing yours 😍

Thanks. No I got the standard leather sports seats. If I would've known that the driver seat wasn't going to have the width adjustment, I would've probably went with the ventilated seats. It's a bit disappointing not having the width adjustment, but wasn't a deal breaker to me.

I had it in like 3 cars in the last 5 years. It never showed any useful info that I needed in front of me. It's a gimmick until they let you use Waze there.

I know many people on here consider HUD absolutely essential but like Fanatic guy and JSoto gal I find it to be totally useless not to mention you can’t even see the dam thing with Polaroid sunglasses on.

Right lol, I can't see myself using it once I get the car, seemed annoying to be right in my sight of view.

Totally agree. I have wanted HUD for years… finally got it and realized almost immediately, since the semi and full digitizing of instrument clusters, it's almost useless. I can see what I need to with a quick glance now a days…. Back when everything was analog, totally different. Again, just my opinion. I only use it probably once every few weeks.
