I applied Adams Graphene Ceramic Coating. Long weekend of prepping, polishing, and applying.

Bought the Gtechniq cleaning kit from Amazon and gave her a wash, looked so much better once cleaned. I need to spend more time on the wheels and use a power washer but the cleaning kit was decent, would recommend if you don't have one.

Would suggest however given the size of the car, use a hose and not just a bucket job, you'll find it's useful having the constant flow of water available.

Overall, very happy with it but it still isn't fully cured so time will tell. So far, it's very glossy and has awesome depth. Reviews I've seen definitely have me excited about it.

Application process was very easy and it's nice that you only need a single coat but the suede removal towels they included are junk and left a lot of high spots. I found that a higher GSM polishing towel removed the product much easier but I had to go back to spots and reapply the product or apply Brilliant Glaze over it so it would level out.

I applied at the worst possible time with high temperature (>90 degrees) and very high humidity (stormed later in the evening) so it flashed VERY quickly (<20 seconds). Application on clear-bra was a little a tricky and seemed to flash even quicker.

The blacklight is gimmicky and borderline useless since you can't really see missed spots with good lighting. If anyone is applying it properly (cross hatch) and is paying attention, there's no need to use it and waste six AA batteries.

I'll try and write up a review and post some pictures but short-term impressions are positive. I would definitely choose the Adams Graphene Ceramic coat over a Cquartz UK 3.0 for example since it's a single coat, lasts more than twice as long (7 years), don't have to deal with a lame applicator block and mini suede cloths, and performance is expected to be substantially better.

Like Diamond Lights I washed and hoovered, I use Teepol a generic cleaning agent that we used in the dairy industry to clean stainless steel vats

Thanks for the in depth response. I'm definitely going to look to do this in the near future vs traditional ceramic.

No that's dark graphite metallic, it looks like so many different colors depending on the lighting conditions.

Frick - Would you or Frank or Okay recommend applying over my already installed clear bra material or removal of the bra first then apply? Thanks.

I would just use 3M black vinyl tape over the X3M. Did the same on mine and it looks clean. However, now thinking I may take it off to show the logo. Don't really care that it's not an X3M. Says M40i on the back. Like that vent a bit better than the stock one.

Blacked out the side vents with some vinyl wrap. And started on minimalist mud flaps; fronts are only done so far.
