Well thanks you guys! I swear when my phone was restoring from a backup it kept saying the app wasn’t available anymore. I even went & searched for it. When I would try to download it, I would get the same error message. But now all of a sudden it’s there. I redownloaded it. The whole IOS17.4 bricking was weird. I have never had an update brick my phone. And I have had a new iPhone every year since the 3GS.

An F25 LCI is just a slightly updated F25, so still an F25. G01 is a brand new model from the ground up. LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) is just a mid life model update, rather than a new model https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/attac...1&d=1550590497 |

I thought the M40i did not have the auto start/stop button?
For the US, it’s on the 30i but because the M40i has the hybrid battery added it does not have the auto start/stop button on the console. So why does BMW put the auto start/stop button on the M40i for other countries? This is a 2024 M40i and has the start/stop button look at time 3:46 |

It is a little weird to be honest... i think 2022 still had the ASS off button on the M40i... my 2023 doesn't have it but I've coded ASS out so I don't care but either way it would be nice to have a button... i'd bet its something to do with legislation that forced them to remove it.

My 2022 does not have the ASS button. I was under the impression that all LCI M40i cars in the US had the button removed. As for why it is still there in other countries, that's anyone's guess.

I have a Pixel 7 Pro Android. Every single time I make the first call from the car, there's a lot of loud static starting with the dialing process. Enough so that I immediately kill the call, wait a minute then redial. The 2nd and subsequent calls are trouble-free. After I shut off the car, lock it, and then reenter it later the cycle repeats. Does anyone else have something like this?

I have the fuse pulled on my M40i to keep the LH exhaust pipe open all the time. I've noticed that in cold weather I only get steam from the right pipe, not the left. Even when the car's been driving for a while and fully warmed up the RH exhaust is hot but the left isn't.
Anything to be concerned about? |

Yeah - I've read loads of them but no-one seems to mention the uneven distribution of the exhaust across the two tailpipes. It makes me wonder if the valve on the LH pipe is actually fully open - I get plenty of noise on startup and when warmed up, but there's not much back pressure and as I said the exhaust tip doesn't get hot the way the RH one does after a longer run.
