Well, all cars now have G force sensors as they use them for almost every safety feature of the car, even for the braking lights as you can modify when they start flashing by coding (I have them for example configured to start flashing over 0,5G instead of standard 0,7G). So I guess we just need to find what to do to activate that info on the screen as it is available for sure.

There is 100% the values int the system, as you get it on the M laptimer app, and that even worked in a 2012 F30. I'll dig further!

Thanks! The turbo pressure gauge doesn't seem to work as well.

LOL. The needle for the turbo gauge is at zero and doesn't move. No need video

(Picture from the previous post)

Only the oil temp and the HP/Torque gauge are working.

I think it is not turbo pressure but oil pressure. Anyway, if it doesn't work, it doesn't matter much.

Wait - can you elaborate on this? Is getting Apple Carplay directions in the HUD something you coded? Something that came via a software update? Is this type of thing available on my 2018 or specific to newer vehicles? Was it coded with standard or expert stuff.

Any info is appreciated.

All- just pick up a 2021, after lots of reading and YT, couldn't find details on how to add the BO features to my HK sound system. One YTer mention it have to be done in the Expert setting, can someone provide some details on this pls.
Also i bought the VEEPEAK ODB2, i was able to code a few options but it won't all me to enter into the "Front Electronic Module" to code the ambient and fogs with park light, which i really want to. Any other OBD2 recommendation ? Thanks

If you have a Samsung Galaxy or iPhone, get a wired ENET cable and usb C adapter. Cheaper than getting an obdlink or any other Bluetooth adapter. And extremely fast too. Trust me. I have an obdlink and the setup mentioned above. I don't even know where my obdlink is now

The psi gauge (top left) is the turbo boost gauge. Not oil pressure gauge. The one below that is the oil temperature gauge.

Facts. If you have 5-15psi oil pressure you've got some big problems.....

Quick post to say a massive thanks to everyone for sharing tips and experiences. My cable and adapter finally showed up yesterday after grabbing BC on Black Friday.

Managed to find 5mins last night to code off ASD, one touch trunk open/close and start-up message off.

Plan to do the led colours to M colours, auto start/stop off, adaptive mode at start up and a few other little bits. Amazing how far apps have come that we can use a GUI like this to make changes in a matter of seconds. 🥳

Do you have a link/sample picture of the ENET cable and usb C adapter setup as I have a Galaxy phone and want to connect to the my 2021 G01 for use with bimmercode. I bought a Veepeak ODB2 adapter but the Body Domain Controller feature in BC 3.5 is not compatible with the adapter.

Is it something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...4M59LA1C&psc=1
Then you connnect the USD end to a USB C adapter to the phone?

Thanks

The enet cable in the link you provided is the exact same cable I use

USB C cable I use is linked below
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VPMPT6M...ing=UTF8&psc=1

You have to make the following changes mentioned in the link below to get it to work

Thanks...I would never have known to do that.

The bluetooth adapter seems to be easier with plug n play, but there's the wait time to load each time. The ENET cable and adapter are arriving in a couple of days so I will try them out and report back on my findings.

Anyone could find something related with the missing information in the "new" sport displays (pressure and g force)?

I changed it successfully in a friend's 2020 M40i, but couldn't find anything to make it fully work.
