I think you did right, the X4 ones look a bit weird with the cut out bit in them.

For those of you who has the Maxton front lip, is it in multiple pieces like the knockoff one is ?

Came across the knockoff one on Ebay and Ali, and I noticed that that one is 4 pieces:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001...archweb201603_

Personally didn't like the 'fin' part of the Maxton lip, wondering if it will still look proper without that piece, assuming the Maxton one is also multiple pieces.

Thanks...after looking at the pics a bit more, I think the more squarish nature of the X3 ones fits the X3 a bit more. I also bought the rear side pieces to try and modify for fitment on my X3M. It currently extends out too much toward the center and will come in contact with the muffler tips.

Yes i did order the X3 ones.

That’s a good point about the rear side splitters, if they don’t fit the X3M then they also won’t fit the M40i with its trapezoid exhaust tips, the one on Maxton’s website has the normal two round pipes:

Lol, you did exactly what I did too on the visual. It looks like it would be near the same "needed modification" for clearance as well for the M40i... which I don't know is even possible or feasible. I did notice that the x4 application one doesn't extend inward as far and is on an M40i, however the curvature of the mounting surface looks to be different... more flat where as the X3 is curved

It is strange, I wonder why they don't make them for the X3 M40's :

My guess is they build off vehicles available to them or demand in their origin company.

I might try the x4 rear as it in theory wouldn't require trimming, but the mounting surface differences puts doubts in my mind if the flushness and flat horizontal leveling 🤔

I’d definitely say the X4 ones won’t fit, the bumpers are totally different design.

I saw the same ones. I messaged them a while back for better pictures. They never responded.. As much as I would love to have CF side pieces, the maxton ones will be just fine.

Does anyone know of a good rear spoiler? I had a look at the maxton one but it hardly makes a difference and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Hello, I contacted them (larte design) and the 2 from Germany and Russia answered me until they sent. Manhart has not answered me

Maxton one makes quite a big difference imo, but it would need to be colour matched to the car for me.

There is the AC schnitzer one, and the copies of it on ebay/AliExpress but it looks like a shopping trolley handle imo.
