The kit comes with a clip. It could most likely attach to the belt. I like the idea of no key in my pocket. I carry 2 phones daily and this will give me a little more space.

I'm waiting for the day when we can just use our phones as our keys

Apple CarKey should be coming in iOS14 according to latest rumors. Of course just like CarPlay it will probably take a few years for adoption.

Finally installed my 3D Design front lip. Build to order. No where in stock. But it’s worth it every penny.

If I did anything other than top to bottom after wheeling I'd be doing everything all over again when the mud runs down on it.

I'd imagine Europe would be the same, but maybe it works backwards for our fellow enthusiasts in Australia and the southern hemisphere like toilet flushes.

Haha nah man wheels first is a rule in the States as well lol. The logic and reason being, as best explained by a blog on Jay Leno's garage "First up on the exterior wash "hit list" are the wheels & tires. You'll want to clean these before the paint because they're typically the dirtiest part of your vehicle. Plus, if you wait to clean them until the end of your wash you'll run the risk of splashing dirt & brake dust back onto the clean paint." https://www.lenosgarage.com/blogs/au...ur-next-detail

If you check any worthy youtube car washing videos, everyone starts from wheels and tires. Check AMMO NYC (
) or even Chrisfix.

Guess I'll try changing it up a bit. I'm thinking something like quick pass on the wheels, car top down, then a full wheel clean. Although, without a garage, it gets dirty again quickly, so I'm not near as particular as I used to be. That's what my periodic detailing is for.

I do a full clean of all four wheels first, then wash the car, then pull into the garage to dry it and finish any other detail work (clay/wax, etc). In the summertime in AZ you have a very limited amount of time to actually wash the car itself before the water starts to dry so I make sure to tackle the wheels first just because of this reason alone.

apply your own ceramic coating. Cquartz Uk is pretty good. Other forum members have used it and recommend it. I only used the Cquartz Skin for my 3m ppf. Works well enough. You will be saving tons of time washing your car for a 70ish a bottle once a year (in the case of Cquartz Skin).

Also ceramic coat it lol will make a breeze to dry it. I like to time myself when drying my car lol. It's my sprint cardio for the day lol.

Tell me about it! I moved down to Palm Springs for the summer from Seattle. I wash at dusk with no sun on the car as quickly as I can and try to dry it before it before the 0% humidity and 100 degree heat take care of it in a matter of minutes. This is way different than Seattle!

I have one of the big towels from Griots that does an amazing job with soaking up the water and trying a car in not time flat, however, when washing a vehicle in AZ during the summer you can wet the whole car, wash a panel and a half and the other side of the car is already almost dry before even getting to it. Really don't even need a towel to dry it...except then you are just left with water spots because our water also has a ton of deposits.

Yeah, it is a whole other beast compared to somewhere like Seattle or the mid-west where there is a lot more humidity.
