So there are a ton of X3Ms in the Chicago area, 2 dealers by me have 5 and 6 on hand right now, and half have been there since launch! don't think these are selling as well as they thought. When F80 came out dealers would never have more than 1. Not sure if its over production, not as much of a market as they thought or a combo of both.
surprised BMW hasn't increased the incentives or residual to help move them, maybe in November? |

Boston area. X3M Comp with both packages - MSRP of $84,045.
36 months at 12k miles 5.5% discount off of MSRP $2,750 lease and loyalty rebate BMW makes first payment $0 down 35 payments of $1,062 including MA taxes. Also get $500 from BMW CCA Dealer gave me $14,500 for my 2013 F30 that Carmax offered $11,000 for. Feels pretty square all round. |

Is there supposed to be any sort of discount/incentive (I've heard $1,000) for participating in the M Town Tour?
I drove the X3MC at the M Town Tour when they were in LA a couple months back, but I don't recall ever receiving any form of e-mail voucher for a discount/incentive. I've placed my order for an X3MC with a local dealer here and want to be sure to be able to apply that incentive to my negotiated deal once the car arrives. |

2020 X3M Comp
$84,395 MSRP $1325 down (basically to cover acq fee, title/reg, doc fees) $824.00/month 7 MSDs total after rebates = $71,517.6 residual was only about 57% as this is a demo with 3,900 miles (you lose $0.30/mile) car exactly as I would have spec'd it and since its a lease the fact that its a demo doesn't really matter (has full warranty and I turn it in after 3 years). depending on how you look at it 12% off before rebates 15.25% off after rebates 14.1% off after rebates and demo residual adjustment figured in |

Do these still require an allocation like a typical M car, or not?
Going to wait until end of December or Thanksgiving to buy, and trying to line up all my ducks so I get the best deal possible... hopefully will stay local -- sales person is great and have bought two NON-M cars from her in the past 4 years. They initially offered $4500 off an $84k build (in stock). Not bad for first try in Scottsdale I suppose for an M car but obviously I know they will go lower.

Overall I am going to: 1. Start negotiating closer to holidays. 2. Shop offers from outside the state against theirs as a way for them to match it to get the business or at least come close enough where it's cheaper than flying and driving/shipping back. I'm betting I can get 15% off if I wait until either thanksgiving evening to sign or Dec 30/31. Prev car I managed 22% off because I waited until holidays came in ready to buy that day and found the one they had on the lot the longest. Leasing btw. I will not buy this vehicle— suicide on trade. And key to keep lease payment as low as possible with as little down as possible ( no MSDs) to make it marketable for a lease swap in case I want out early.

These are sitting on lots all over the country; literally. The fed cut interest rates another .25% so the lease rates hopefully should follow....there is no reason that you couldn't get your exact build right now with an outstanding deal. I did mine this month and made out amazingly like many others....people are also still ordering with about month turn around. You'll get a stellar deal on one sitting on a lot though. |

I really think 15% will be possible as these pile up towards EOY. Actually hoping to find a demo as I think I could squeeze it to 20% and get the payment into the $700's with tax and minimal drive off. Either way I think this will be a good stable mate for the Spyder and I won't have to ride in this abysmal 320 anymore. I was completely surprised they managed to make an SUV drive like a real M car.

The same 7 X3M have been sitting at BMW Seattle for a month. They ain't moving. Other local dealers here also with cars not moving according to following online inventories. This is not a popular car and that's good news if you're in the market!

No MSDs. Higher priced msrp has a slightly higher discount. Above is loyalty, current BMW support for October and CCA $500 off. |
