No, I don't know any way to delay the system start after unlocking the doors.

EDIT: tried connecting a normal ethernet to the computer, and it takes it. So I don't think the problem is the computer. This is what the car port looks like - does it look normal? Not sure if I should be concerned that I can see gold plates in a couple of the slots, but not all of them. View post on imgur.com If it is normal, then I'm wondering if the cable literally just gave out after a few uses? Is that common? Last edited by zhoudaniell; 03-27-2017 at 11:52 PM.. |

My PC went through a windows update as well. Even for some reason if the firewall or antivirus was reenabled, or any of the other points that are listed to make sure are set before using E-sys, the "connection" should technically still exist right? |

Would it block all things entering the ethernet port, or just the enet cable? my ethernet for my router still worked well with the port.

Normally Firewall will block specific port. If for example it blocked Port 6801, then only ENET Connection would be affected.

Does this look off to you at all? I want to make sure its not on the car side of things - not sure if there's supposed to be gold plates on every little hole or not. View post on imgur.com |

Hi - just got car back from dealer who has recoded some modules
Getting an error when reading coding data from CAFD files New I-Step is F025-17-03-503 so I'm guessing that I need new psdzdata files (my current version is from v.60.0_PSdZData_Lite and E-Sys 3.28.1 with Launcher 2.6.2.124) If I need a new version can I have a link to the latest please? Thanks very much

BTW, the car was in for them to try to fix the 'tailgate button on fob won't release/open tailgate unless doors are unlocked first' issue I mentioned a few pages back - before they had it the first time the tailgate button on the remote would unlock the doors and open the powered tailgate, now we have to press the unlock button first then the tailgate button - first world problem I know, but it's irritating when it worked before They couldn't do it - but the car has come back with HO-Wort OENE (Automatic trunk lid can be opened only when car is unlocked) set - it wasn't there at all before I tried removing it and setting HO-Wort OEOE (Automatic trunk lid can be opened while car is locked) using the process mentioned here http://bmw-f-coding.blogspot.co.uk/2...vo-coding.html but when I got to the step '5. Right-Click on FA at top of VO => Calculate FP' I got an error saying something along the lines of OEOE wasn't recognised It's strange as the manual mentions that, in some regions, there is an iDrive menu (under Locks) that sets the unlocking behaviour of the tailgate - but it's not present in the UK models... I've been hunting to see if anyone has posted anything about enabling this menu but haven't been able to find anything... yet... the search goes on...

Sorry - you've lost me there...
I thought the software calculated the FP - do I have to do something other than - Edit the FA - Remove the old HO-Wort (OENE) - Add the new HO-Wort (OEOE) - rt-click and 'Calculate FP' I'll try it again with the new Psdzdata that you provided Looking at that table, I wonder what ENKF (Unlock boot vehicle) is? Thanks Perry

I'll keep looking for a way to enable the iDrive tailgate locking options menu - it's mentioned in the F25 owners manual so it must be there somewhere... ATB Perry

Hi Shawn,
Was trying to code ACSM module but the CAFD file wasn't generated - it says "not found". Perhaps I'm using old software... Can you PM newest one? Tks |

If you are talking about idrive menu, check vehicle settings.
