I agree! I really wanted a lower profile carrier simply for the aesthetics... but we needed more room for luggage

This carrier is the Large size. Thule states that it has 16 cu. ft. of cargo volume and can carry 110 pounds of gear

Nice leather choice. BTW are they the standard alloys for your part of the world?

The new button actually came with some adhesive like putty. You make a ball, press it onto the button, then pull quickly. Super easy.

Thanks, I love the look of it. I won't go in to it but there is a thread on the main feed called Maxton Front Splitter that shows the OP's post and some very helpful tips.

If you use clay bar on your car you might want to try that. I use my clay to pull the center caps off my wheels.

I would, but it is one time use. I threw it away several weeks ago. The button I purchased actually came with it.

It's also worth noting that you are only removing the plastic circle piece - that's it.

I bought mine on Amazon. I typically wouldn't buy stuff like this on Amazon, but it was cheap and worth $10. I'm actually really pleased with how it came out. This button came with the putty - nothing else was required.

I paid more for a pack of putty. Ugh. I might as well buy this one.
