Multiple keys
Hi all, whilst waiting for a date on my new X3 I have read the electronic owners manual to get a better understanding of the car.
I am impressed that the vehicle knows which key (or FOB ) is present to select which settings to use. What happens if both are present and have different settings? How do you, or the car, determine which is the primary key? |

And once you're in you can change the active profile. So, if the passenger happens to unlock the door, you can change to the driver's profile instead of getting out, locking the door and unlocking it again with the driver's key. Sounds goofy, but it's been handy for me.

Settings -- Profile then select the one you want (if memory serves, currently away from the car). Have to have saved the profile earlier. Save/name in the same menu.
