2WD can be done by XHP xDelete or via eSys coding (this would show up as a selectable option in the iDrive menu like the M5's).

My slightly modified X3 MC runs a 10.9 on the street. But I still tell others it's a stone cold reliable basic bitch that runs consistent dead even 11's all day long, just to be a touch on the conservative side. Hate all you want with the 8.99999 run. I still said it was quick though. But the DAMFH didn't see that part. Did they... You guys glanced past that part & just focused on the negative instead. In typical player hater fashion. You guys never cease to amaze me...

You're right on the reliable parts. Different worlds of things mean different results. I'm in a group with him as well as with the company who tuned his car. He did snap a driveshaft (if I remember correctly) and they did bring spare driveshafts to the strip. There were a few M340i's that ran last weekend at the same event who were swapping driveshafts on the side of the track.

Giving a few salty individuals full permission to get their panties in bunch. STFU already. I have no idea what your run on sentences are "trying" to explain. Your passive aggressive statements are vaguely understandable in a vast sea of car talk. I said the X3M is still quick. Yet the pissing match continues to unfold. Retired motorcycle drag racing NHRA license-holding member of 30yrs here.. Just my worthless $.02,you mentioned your X3M ran a 10.9 but you just say "it runs 11s all day long" and I get that and I've done the same;I've gone 7.89 once but I just say "it runs 8s" if asked about the bike as it's just easier and needs no explanations.

But,I think once you hit a certain level that few have achieved,that .01 is huge to the folks that are really into drag racing and have chased personal best's in the past,& most likely thats where the issue arose.
Perfect example,when I had my '07 E63 AMG back in '07 the MB forums were all comparing it to the '06 E55 AMG it replaced and everyone was doing track rentals,test&tunes etc to see if a stock E63(zero 11sec passes to date) was capable of surpassing a stock E55(several 11sec passes to date) in the 1/4mi and nobody was successful since the vehicle was introduced. I was able to run an 11.95 in my stock E63 at an Atco rental in perfect conditions so it was huge to a lot of people,and no big deal at all to other people.
So I don't think you were hating,but kinda downplayed the significance of the achievement even though you clearly posted it was impressive and still moving out.
