Well... he did post it in an X3 M forum bruh. What else could you have mistaken that for... ? And I've never see a forced induction cowl hood on an AMG. LOL A Mustang or old school muscle car maybe. But not on a Benz...

I think I understand that but figured I would add a little something to mix it up
bruh . I thought it would be better than seeing 400,000 pictures of the same front end . I don't see very many people modifying their vehicles enough to make this thread stick around long enough which is why the first 2/3 of the threads are more than just f97 / f98 .

And to answer your question....you are right about not seeing it that much on a Benz because most people don't modify them to this level . The hood is not a cowl hood . It is a ram air hood to force cooler air into the engine bay and the vents are to suck the hot air out . It's all functional as the Weistec Stage 3 supercharger kit creates some higher under hood temps . I'm sure you probably noticed from the front mount intercooler .

I hear ya man. I'm not sure this thread will go far too. Even though the front end of the X3 M looks far better than the buck tooth G80 M3 does. LOL And I wasn't knocking the AMG. Simply not use to seeing a Benz with a ram air hood. If it were my Mercedes I would try to find a way to let the warm air exit out of the front fenders. I use to have on 04 EVT COBRA it was neat to see the heat extractors built into the lightweight composite factory hood.
