I’m just confused because when I emailed them they said replacements. Regardless happy to hear they fit well and now we know I don’t need to remove the bumper. Would be nice if they knew their own product!!
Here you go. I placed one over my current vents 😍… sexy!! I’m afraid of them coming off.

Found them on AliExpress for $310 delivered. Est Delivery date is 7/1. Pictures look the same as RW, IND and others selling for $550.

I ended up ordering these as well as the outer ducts from eBay vendor Runnstar. Same vendor everyone orders the interior trims from. I’ve ordered my side vents and steering trim from them as well and been happy with all products so far.

Not quite as cheap as Ali perhaps but I’ve had good experiences with this eBay vendor.

We agreed on prices around $800 for both sets after initial offer and counter offers.

It will be a while before they arrive but I’ll share here once they do.

got mine done as well. fitment was ok; just needed extra 3M VHB tape in certain areas as the double sided tape it came with it was definitely not enough.

So only 3m tape? Do they just go over OEM vent parts and no need to remove bumper? Looks great, looking to replace mine since they're all pitted.

Awesome, looks good! I figured I’ll probably be adding some additional 3m tape.

Yes, the inner ones just fit over the existing with 3m tape only. No need to remove the bumper.

So the inners apply with 3m, what about the outer vent trims, does the bumper need to be removed?

Is there any concern that these edges would vibrate against the paintwork and essentially rub it off at the contact points since it's not secured? or does not actually make contact anywhere?

bumper removal is not necessary, but you do need to gain access to the rear by removing the front wheel well trim.

to install:

1. remove two push pins on the bottom.
2. pull up 75%
3. stick your hand behind trim and remove PDC sensor from holder.
4. pull up and release.
5. take new CF trim and reverse the process. you'll need to stick your hand behind the bumper (through the wheel well) to reattach PDC sensor back to holder
6. push trim all the way down.
7. reattach the bottom pins.

never thought about that. it doesnt move around too much (unless physically pushing it about with your hand). but there IS some space and the possibility of dirt/debris getting in. personally i have the entire car wrapped in xpel so none of that is a concern to me.

Could put additional 3m tape there or possible thin piece of hide density foam. I’ll have to take a look at that when I test fit.

yeah that escalade made the X3M look like a freakin hatchback. it’s ridiculously embarrassing how large that truck is.
