Go to different service location for better results on cracked windshield

My windshield just randomly cracked one day while being parked in the garage and there is no signs of impact on my windshield. Now reading on this forum I hear this is a common issue and a "stress crack". I brought this up to my service center and they said no this is due to an impact even with no visible signs of impact on that crack so im curious if I should try my luck with another service center 20min away or is it all being logged? Its somewhat insane that I can have this large of a crack just randomly

Did you drop it off to be looked at the dealer who stated there was an impact? If so, more likely than not, there is a note somewhere. If you just chatted with the SA and that's what he told you and you drove off, then I bet it did not. Would not hurt to get a second opinion. Most insurance will cover windshield replacement too. Let us know what's next.

Typically insurance will cover this for free. Just make sure you use BMW windshield with the vendor that will do the work.
