I run summers on my car all year long since I live in California & don't drive in the rain. So I'm not sure if they offer the M01 spec in an all-season version. But since this front & rear tire combo is one MB & Porsches, I would assume maybe there "is" an all weather version. However, I don't believe I ever saw them on the Tire-Rack for reference. So maybe I'm wrong & just have old info available in me memory bank. Sorry I wasn't much of a help in that regard.

Another 265/295 owner chiming in. Got the factory tires replaced on Friday with a set of the MP4S's and the dealer actually suggested moving to the 265/295 combo.
They have 2 other X3M customers and have installed them on those 2 cars and gotten positive feedback from the owners which is why they recommended them to me. I was already aware of the swap from the forums here so I was going to have them do it anyways. I can 100% confirm that the ride quality is much better. Very impressed and the visual change is bigger (in a good way) than I thought.

Newbie here - just switched from oem 255/265 CSC6’s to M01 265/295 - early days but I thought rear tyres were noisier but then pulled luggage over and that observation was dashed.
Surprisingly EPS feels sharper and more direct so far…

There is a star on the side of the tires. Is that what you're referring to?

There has been a general consensus in this thread to use the Mercedes tires because those are a factory front and rear setup. The star BMW ones are the 265 being the rear tire of an X3M and the 295 is the front tire of an X5M. So when they're installed on an X3M they're on the "wrong" axles. If you haven't noticed any issues then that is good news for the group in general. |

I didn’t think I’d be in the market for 265/295 anytime soon but both my wife and I are returning to office so I will need to be able to drive the M in cold and possibly snow so I’ve ordered a set of forged wheels. Used this as my excuse 😀 I’ll most likely be going the m01 (Mercedes) spec ps4s for the new wheels. I’ll then be swapping to all seasons on my stock wheels. I was just on tire rack and saw Bridgestone Potenzas in the 265/295 size. Anyone run these? They used to be a good tire back in the day. They are few hundred cheaper on tire rack right now with rebate. I’ll probably stick with ps4s but was curious if anyone went with the potenzas? |

Me again, stressing over tires for my new wheel setup. 😂
The 295/35/21 has an overall diameter that is smaller than stock. I knew this all along but didnt think much of it. Giving it thought, this is going to increase the wheel gap in the rear. I’m not lowered am I going to notice this? Or tell me to stop worrying about it because it will look fine? |

There is only a .11" (about 1/8") difference in the side wall height... You will need to look REALLY CLOSE to see that I'm not lowered at all, and you can see what a 295/40-20 and a 315/30-21 look like on the rear here: https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...ight=completed Go for it!!

Thank you for sharing for comparison. The 315 tire you run is even smaller in diameter.
I’m looking at overall diameter which is more like .22 or nearly 1/4 inch. I was worried that this just adds to the wheel gap and it had me nervous about the look. |

I honestly feel that the 265/295 handles better than the 255/265 but the 295 I got (PS4S) MO1 spec they run narrow on the OEM - Pre-LCI 21" comp wheels, the rear stance still leaves much to be desired IMO.
Anyone consider running X5 tire sizing? 275/315 ? |
