Yes, you can put on non-run flat after.

In winter run-flat and non-run-flat doesn't really affect the performance. Things like tire make/model/type and size are more important.
Thank you Raphael X4!

I thought run-flat tyres were stiffer than non-run flat to maintain the ability to operate without air inside.

The run-flat side wall stiffness is why some claim the ride is harsher than non run flat.

Go ahead and try and let us know the result$. I’ve shifted into neutral a few times accidentally too, but this is something you should be able to do. Hopefully the computer would prevent park. At least that’s a button you’d have to press.

Not sure that’s possible but , I know if you have the shifter to the left in sport and with your foot on the brake turn the car off . The shifter automatically goes Back to the center and car goes into park .

Yes, I'm sorry I wrote that backwards.

Putting aside the natural advice for two hands on the wheel, why not hold the wheel with your right hand and rest your left arm on the door panel armrest? That way, you’ve still given up the same amount of steering control and you can rest an arm and keep your hand away from the shifter! Bingo!

Is there a child-proof switch I can turn off for rear passenger doors for a G02? Had a guest that could not open the door. And so I tested it. Sure enough, I could not open the doors from the inside. Tried to located switches but nothing seems comes close to a door switch.

Edit: Never mind. Found the switch in the door..

Correct, had a new X1 for a loaner this week. The toggle lever is fine, but there is no park button, you just press the start/stop button to park. There were a few things I liked about it (the next/previous button was on the center counsel, the doors seemed pretty hefty, and the seat moves back to help exit the car (wish the X3 had that). The lack of physical buttons was tough, I'm hopeful the rumor of the iDrive wheel remaining on the X3 is true.

Is there a specific procedure for replacing the tyre tpms sensor/valve? Does it have to be specifically orientated against the alloy? Also, how long does the battery last for within the sensor?

All signs appear to be yes as spy shots of the G45 interior appear to maintain the iDrive controller!

Generally love electronics and screens but I’ve often thought how I’ll survive once they remove the shifter. I dunno where people put there hands?

I think there in only one position. A socket is needed. I'm not sure about lifespan, but expect 5-6 years. Well, if it's 7, then I'll change it with new set of tyres anyway... battery is irreplaceable.

I’m so conflicted, I want an X3 or X4 before allocation stops for 2024. But I want red leather with electronic side bolstering. I’ve had it for over 10 yrs and if I get the red sensatec I won’t get it. I’d prefer the X3. So if I want red leather I have to order an X4. I’m so tired of black interior and oyster scares me for dirt and Jean fading. Cognac leather you lose the electronic side bolster and mocha is too drab color. Why couldn’t BMW allow red leather on the X3?

I would have purchased it if I could have. I liked the red leather in my F31.

I have. Tires were great. They just had an older date code than what I'd expect paying full price (mine were 4-5 yrs old IIRC). But they were presumably stored in a climate controlled warehouse so there should be minimal performance degradation.

Thanks, these are 3 years old and are at regular price $311.00 and selling for $157.00 . Kind of hard to resist at that price.

Anyone know the size and type of locking nut for the front wheel (OEM 699) with 15mm spacers?

I was hesitant about mine ('21)with the Oyster interior but the overall deal was too good to pass up. No issues with dirt or fading. The seats look new. The light gray Oyster with dark gray sensatec dash and aluminum rhumbicle window trim with black carpeting has received many compliments.

TPM sensor batteries last approx 10 years.

FYI…around the F15 debut…the function of the RDC was incorporated into the DSC unit..so for those with an E or F chassis BMW with the older RDC set-up…there’s TPM info for the old & new TPM systems.
