Hello There

I went to a dealer for leasing a BMW X3. They are the only one in a 50 mile radius who have the exterior color i need per my inventory check on bmwusa.com (and dealer websites). I may not get that car from them, as I couldn't afford the price they quoted on the lease (and have not heard back on their new offer)

Since, I need that specific color, how long will I have to wait for new cars with the required color to show up?

If you want a specific color and spec then you should order it through the dealer. Otherwise you’re going to be waiting forever on the off chance they spec a car to your liking. Also current gen X3 is ending soon so you would need to act soon if you don’t want the new design.

By stating that the current X3 gen is ending soon, did you mean a new model will come up in 2025 (OCt/Dec 2024)?

Yup, the current X3 is a G01, and the model year 25 X3, launching this summer, will be a G45, so a new platform.
