Hello guys,
It’s my first time posting and I’m sorry if the format is weird. I wanted to share a dyno of my fathers x3 F25 35i. The car had an cts high flow dp a performance air filter which I don’t recall the name and an intercooler. We had the car in for a custom tune. The dyno was a MAHA dyno The words on the paper are Greek so let me explain 384 hp engine 268 wheel hp 571 Nm The thing is that I have seen many stage 1 builds here and no one was under 300whp and I’m pretty confused. What’s your impressions? |

HOWEVER. Assuming that this is not an engine dyno the number that you're getting is 268 at the wheels which is probably lower than stock or right about what stock would be. The 384 number seems to be a miscalculation by whatever software the dyno uses. These two numbers would represent a 30% drivetrain loss which is just simply not true for xDrive cars. It's more like half that or less in my research. (12-15% loss based off BMW's numbers) Somethings not right with the dyno/dyno software, or with the car. My guess is the Dyno/Dyno software. Do you know what stage 1 software it's supposed to be? Has the car been logged with this new tune? It's tough to say without a baseline as all dyno's read differently, if you can flash back to stock and do a dyno run that'll really tell you the story. |
