What's the way to burp the coolant system on a S-58 (what's the procedure)... ?
I just got done replacing the two lower auxiliary radiators on a X3 MC. What the proper way to burp the coolant system on this beastly S-58... ?
On my daily driver an 2011 e90 335i with the N55 all I have to do is set the key to position #2, turn the heater on full blast & hold the gas pedal all the way down (with the engine off) for 10 second to initiate this process. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE...

I can't remember exactly how much I took out. But it was more than I originally thought / imagines might be in there. I removed my front bumper & was replacing my 2 side auxiliary radiators. So that's how I drained the system during that job. I can look up the official procedure guide for the S58 & get you the name of that article. Then ask your local service advisor to print it out or look it up online. That should help a touch.

I fully agree. I had a MG 2017 DCT M2. But the dated iDrive & cheap gauges dressed down the interior even more. It was a sick coupe though. When the time is right I really want a MG 2018 DCT M2 with the sunroof. One day I'll know what it's like to have my ideal spec. Once I'm back home after the weekend I'll get you the name of that document.

Simply trying to restore my X3 MC to like new / factory fresh / showroom condition. Those aluminum fins on the radiators are super soft & even a small stone smaller then a pebble can really muck them up. So I figured it was a very easy RR while I was in there with the front bumper off.
