Intake + charge pipe
Hey guys, I’m no stranger to messing around with performance upgrades, but I am a stranger to BMW’s as I’ve only had mine for a few weeks now lol.
Does anyone have experience with this kit or similar kits? I’d like to hear feeback on if you’ve felt it’s made any difference, waste of money, etc. It’s not an outrageous price so willing to spend if it’s a small upgrade in some sorta way lol. If you do have experience with this, did you pair with a tune or anything? I have never owned a BMW so I have no idea what they feel like with any upgrade done to them. I know that intakes aren’t going to make me gain a ton of power, I’m simply wondering your experience with this! Thank you!! |

Intake and chargepipe don’t add any power on these cars. Intake will add sound and usually causes more heat soaking than stock, chargepipe is only really needed for meth or upgraded turbo going to 27-30psi. we’ve pushed stock chargepipe to 30+psi back before the b58 had parts available😃

Looks like you have a '19 30i? Same here. For the same amount of money (or less) for your above product, you can install a Racechip and gain around 40-50HP. Same for a JB4 for a little more $. The Racechip transformed my 30i and for the $, the easiest way to gain substantial performance.

Intake is for engine sound only. It will sound awesome.
Both are for engine bling. If you want to show off your engine bay that's what it's for. Totally unnecessary in your case but a option if you want to get it.

Charge pipe is more for piece of mind and looks. Although I dont know anyone's charge pipe that's been broken yet. Now the N55 is a different POS and story as they break consistently. As far as intake. While i cant feel the gains if you run a datalog you will notice WGDC is lower so that's a positive. Anything to help the turbo breathe easier isnt a bad thing

if you are looking for power, the tune Is the better option.
These are reliability upgrades to replace the stock plastic pipes.

I’m in a 2019. I’ve had plenty of trucks and cars that were built so I know im not sitting on tons of power but this thing really impresses me, never knew I’d like a BMW this damn much by any means haha. My friends tell me my neck is less red and I’m talkin like a yuppie now 😂
I just like “upgrading” my vehicles so trying to learn more about these |

Do they have tune packs where I can switch between eco and performance, etc? Or do they just upgrade all the modes the car has like sport, comfort, eco? Sorry lots of question I’m just so clueless when it comes to these, I’ve spun many wrenches so I know my way around an engine. I just am ignorant to these haha |
