2023 BMW X3 M40  [10.00]
Wife went from 545I and 550I to a X3 30 and liked it. Now has 2023 M40 and LOVES it!!!
Also rides a new Softail after RK and Street Glide.............

Note this grab from the current website where that distinction is made. That iDrive display is non-existent in my vehicle. I’m pretty sure at MY22 LCI launch the only G01 model globally with MHEV tech was the M40 range.

The G01 M40d already had MHEV about a year prior to G01 LCI, but afaik non of the 4 pot models here had this at that time. We don’t get a 30i in this market only the 20i, which I think is a detuned version of the 30i 2l engine.

At some point since MY22, it appears in some market 4 pots also received the 48v MHEV system, but not the US.
