Anyone know how these install? Does the front bumper need removed?

great minds think alike.
I saw these a couple of months back and thought about installing these but I’ve yet to figure out how to install. I assumed they were stick on (with 3Mtape) but it looks like they use the original mounting point. obviously removing the bumper would be easiest but I’m trying to look for a way to do so without removing the bumper. I just haven’t had the time plus it’s been cold these days. I’ll try getting around to it when I have the time.

Was hoping you’d chime in! Yeah been seeing these pop up with various vendors and wasn’t sure if I could get to them with bumper on. The mounting points are not obvious looking at them front the front. Therefore I kind of assumed it may need to come off.

I’ve got the lower air vents in carbon fiber right next to those vents too install. I haven’t been able to find anything on installing those air vents.

Glad I could help! 🤣
I really want to order it but to me seems like the bumper would have to come off and I don’t really want to mess with that. |

the front brake duct inlets thatttx3m posted in main OP are all held in by tabs. judging by the way they look i think front bumper removal may need to be done just to get access to those tabs.

Anyone figure this out? I’m having trouble with the sensor when trying to reinstall. Is it easier to drop the whole bumper?

So apparently these vents (the inner ones not the brake ducts) are just 3m overlay. I’ve reached out to RW about them. I’ll probably order these with the brake duct trim as well.
Someone on the FB group page confirmed fitment via 3m tape for these sold by RW. So no removing the bumper. |

My bad thanks for the correction!
Yeah as much as I don’t want to remove the lip at this point I’ll probably grab both sets to feed the addiction. 😂 |

My vents arrive Monday. If th vents y’re overlays, they’re going back. For the price and wait time, they need to be original carbon fiber parts. You could hydro dip those parts for a much cheaper price and they would look better than an overlay.

I’m just confused because when I emailed them they said replacements. Regardless happy to hear they fit well and now we know I don’t need to remove the bumper. Would be nice if they knew their own product!! |
