UK X3 35d 8jx18" wheels - Is a 225 tyre a good idea?
ATS Euro master have 225/40/18 tyres at £105 a tyre fitted. That's just a ridiculously good price.
I would normally go for 235 tyres. The 35d has some poke but I tend to drive sensibly most of the time. Do you think the handling will suffer if I switch to 225? It a £350 saving. Last edited by bmwPower99; 03-11-2024 at 01:00 PM.. |

Why not go 205, they'll even be cheaper yet
Seriously though, match the tire size with the sticker on the door jamb for optimal results |

225 is suitable for 8" wheels it's just would it be a noticeable impact?
