I´ve coded it in my car with Bimmercode. I don´t feel much difference, but maybe it´s because more is needed?
I now have the options to adjust the suspension in "Sport" and "Eco Pro". I can select "Comfort Plus" as a suspension mode as well, and it feels a bit softer in that mode; but it might be psychological. To code it: In "HU_MGU": Find ECO_CONF_ATTENUATION and SPORT_CONF_ATTENUATION and set them to "active". Can´t recall what Comfort Plus is called in there.

Hello,
So the general consensus is that comfort mode with M Adaptive suspension, is more comfortable than the standard Adaptive suspension? Many thanks, |

I tell myself, that there is a difference in Comfort Plus. Comfort feels the same.

Hello,
With the BMW Connected Drive Sale, I decided to buy the M Adaptive Suspension in the end. In the UK, it appears that this unlocks the damping for Sport and Eco Pro modes (you can now switch between sport and comfort), it doesn’t unlock any additional configurations in Comfort mode, so you can’t have Sport damping in Comfort, which makes sense to be fair. Does it make Comfort mode more comfortable? I’d say yes it does, marginally though. When I’ve driven over those dropped drains you can’t avoid in the road for example, the chassis doesn’t fee like it moves as much as it did before and items in the door compartments storage areas don’t rattle like they did before either if at all now. I don’t know the technical term for it, but what I’ve actually noticed more in the feel through my seat, is that the front axle and rear axle seem to work together if that makes sense? I’m happy I paid £320 for it, I wouldn’t have paid the full £400 for it though. Many thanks, |

Hi all,
Probably my first post --- yes it is I have since a couple of months a iX3 2023 (LCI) version . Regaring my dealer it was not possible to order but found also in the BMW Shop M-adaptive suspension. After doing the payment (option was in sales) my car started to update and this option was available in the setup menu. I'm mainly using to set the car at sports mode in a comfort suspension. |
