There is some truth to this. A neighbor’s ‘22 Macan GTS engine was almost destroyed after his 1st service. The next day after service in less than 15 miles car went into limp mode and message on dash told him not to drive it to avoid engine damage. Idiots at the dealership screwed up the oil change.

I have a trusted Indy shop that works primarly on big Euro brands. I brought my oil, filter and plug and charged me $30 labor on my previous S4. Sure it would be similar ballpark for the X3MC. Charged me $220 labor on full DSG service with 2 filters, DSG fluid and pan seals replaced in the S4 which is a very tedious job with engine running at certain temp while adding DSG fluid.
