Help! Possible ID10T error - X4MC remote starts then engine shuts off immediately
As the title reads, X4MC remote start works then engine shuts off immediately.
Is it user error? Battery issue? Config issue? Has anyone else experienced/observed this? Tried it again today. Car has half a tank, electronics seem fine, comfort access always works... Did not tweak anything crazy with BimmerCode. |

Just three presses to the lock button? Did you digital key setup or anything like that? Never heard of this before unless you are outside the USA.

Turns out it really was ID10T user error...
The slight delay after the 3 presses made it seem unresponsive which likely resulted in additional button mashing. The excessive presses must still register and queue as it fires up then a sec later shuts off. After finishing the idrive update, had to re-enable under climate settings, then followed the instructions to the letter and with some patience, seems to work as intended! #CrisisAverted |
