Engine Mounting Bracket
I have a 2005 BMW X3 3.0 Manual and i am having issues with finding this exact part, I believe it is a Engine Mounting bracket. It is mounted below a resinator and above the right side axle / transfer case where they join.
Attached is a photo I have taken of mine that is broken and another photo of a “new” one from Walmart ( just to see the similarities) if anyone has felt with the issue of replacing one please help me out, Thanks In advanced |

That is the correct part. If the price is $71.95 USD it's a terrible price. MSRP here is about USD$60 and can be found for under $50. Here's a link to the parts diagram. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=22_0095
Bracket is #2 PN 22116750852. If you are looking for a used part, try ebay searching on the part number. If you buy it new, the heat shield (#7) is PN 22116754500 and is attached with rivets. I'd replace both engine mounts (#3 & 4) at the same time. I suspect they are the underlying cause for the broken bracket. To actually do the job, look for a DIY on the engine mounts and replace the bracket "while you're in there."
