2017 X3 xDrive 35i M Sport - Good Price
Hi,
I found a '17 X3 xDrive 35i M Sport with 45K miles for $33,000. There is some minor scratches on the front corner of the fender but other then that it looks okay. It has the following options...

Initially, I think that's a great price given the 35i M sport and a decent amount of packages but to play devils advocate- the market is starting to cool off (thankfully) and for having the G01 LCI out now it's even ""older"" to the unknowing buyers. I still don't think it is outrageous but I also think maybe even a 30k flat would be more appropriate.
All that said I am someone who sits and looks at used car prices daily and goes "no way i'd pay that!" LOL |

I'm about to sell my 2015 X3 35i M Sport Alpine White for $15,000, 151k miles. I wanted a new one (and ordered one and it's in production) because I want to tow a trailer with car and the tow rating is lower on the F25. I have maintained my car religiously (you can search my posts on the forum), with oil changes at 7k miles.
I ordered this one and picked it up from the factory with my wife in 2015. It's been a fantastic vehicle. I still have the window sticker unfolded and in perfect condition as well. I paid ~$30k all said and done about 8 months ago for an every option but X line 2016 M Sport Melbourne red/black with 43k miles. I would rate it as a 9.5/10 example as a whole.
I would say given the final year, updated steering wheel and miles the price sounds about right, if not slightly high. What’s the color combo? |

I'd say it's a little on the high side in the current market / but I'll also say that wouldn't dissuade me from buying it, either..... that looks like a nice one. Most definitely worth the price if you ask me, but know there may be some 18's or 19's near the same price point that may be worth looking at, as well.

I looked at the 18s and 19s. From what I could gather it's somewhat of a base model or limited features. I did find an 18 M40i for 35k but it had almost 100k miles.

In today's market you really just have to buy what you want when you find it. Unless you're flexible...
When I found mine, because of the market, I was looking for 3-5 completely different cars and this one just happened to be what popped up first at what I thought was a reasonable price. To think I tried to buy a Golf R at 3-4 different dealers and kept getting bait and switched... |

In our area, that price wouldn’t surprise me one bit. Heck, even if it were a bit higher it wouldn’t Maybe the market is cooling. I haven’t seen it yet around us, but we’ll see with inflation and the economy as they are. If it looks to be in very good shape, and given its low mileage, I’d say its not a bad price for the market. That said, I cannot imagine buying a car right now given current prices for used vehicles. Tough time to be buying.
