Tire/wheel change

Just swapped my 21 M40i factory 21” 718 rim/tire (Bridgestone Alenza fr) setup to a 20” nrf setup. I went with the 20x8/20x9.5” HRE FF04 (liquid metal finish) rims shod with 245/45 fronts and 275/40 Michelin PS 4S tires.

Love the new looks of the rim/tire combo. Just the right amount of sidewalls in proportion to the 20” rims. The PS4’s do ride noticeably better with much less road noise coming from them. Glad I made the switch!

Like the color and the wheels!! I upgraded from the stock 19s with RFTs to 21s with the Michelin PS4S (and lowering springs) and mine rides better than it did with the stock hardware.

Yeah, must admit the low profile rf 21” tires rode surprising well. Pretty sure with non-run flat tires, the ride would’ve even better. But personally for me, the 20” setup looks/performs best.

The side walls of the Michelin PS4’s are the best of any tire.
