Auto Speed Limit Set Cruise Control

Does anyone know if it is possible to code the auto speed change to speed_detected+X? My Explorer ST had that, and it was amazing. Tech at BMW said you can only set it to auto-set to the exact speed limit detected by the speed limit sign recognition. This of course will piss off anyone behind you, as we normally drive 5-10 mph over the "speed limit."

I can always dig around BimmerCode with my German translator app, but thought I'd ask here first.

In for the results.

I didn't know you could set the cruise to align with the posted speed limit. Not that I would ever use that but speed limit +20% or a fixed number would be great.

Bimmercode can't be used to code in the Automatic Speed Limit Assist (aSLA) currently, as it doesn't have access to the SAS module. You'll need Launcher Pro or EsysX in order to do it.

Otherwise there have been postings on the G05 forums that point out how it's done - https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1687106

It's definitely possible however and it's mainly for the adaptive cruise control
