CarPlay coding: Software not detecting NBT2
Folks, I have a 2017 F25. I was trying to enable CarPlay feature.
The software was able to detect my vehicle, but didn’t read from NBT. Attaching the logs below: Execution log: External interface address: 192.168.7.47 Searching for BMW vehicles on the current network Found vehicle [169.254.72.93]: VIN:5UXWX9C59H0Txxx Connection to vehicle: [5UXWX9C59H0Txxx][169.254.72.93] Connecting to remote cloud service.... Connected to remote cloud service. Process complete: Failed to read from NBT2 Process complete: Server connection closed Any suggestions what could I do here? The above steps worked a few months back, but my vehicle was at dealerships for a recall, and they also changed the obd port as it was hanging. Would really appreciate some help. |

I tried both. With engine OFF, the software doesnt the vehicle. With engine ON the software was able to detect the vehicle.
From the error "", looks like process failed while reading the codes from vehicle. Did you face same issue aswell? Let me retry it a few more times now. Will post my update in sometime. |

nice... after i did it i have to wait maybe 30-45 minutes with the car off for everything to 'update' so it had all the features enabled when i turned the car back on
otherwise it will seem like its half broken did you install the wifi antenna yet as well? |

cs600. Which software are you using to enable CarPlay? Sounds like you are DIY. I'd rather do that if I can rather than one of the services that offer to do it remotely.
