Not from the top... You have to remove the grill, pretty well like the video except its in one piece. 6 tabs at the top, I did it by myself but it would be easier if you got some to help. You don't need to to unplug the camera but the lead is short so a second person would held it mid air while you put the covers.

what about the shudders? I noticed they are closed. Do you have to manually pry those open?

Can't help you there, there is no active shutters on the LCI.

nope they are not connected to grille at all.
i installed the black grilles on mine without an issue

Beautiful cars. I was messing with a Corvette the other night. I saw it jump on the freeway really quick. So I sped up, got next to it and floored it. It didn't want to play. So I turned on my hazards. Next thing you know it was blowing by me, jumped in front and turned on their hazards. It was an awesome moment. The best part was when they moved over a lane, rolled down their window and waved me on. I like to play so I went for it. These look great. I love the look of black mirror caps with tinted windows and all of the black trim. I am torn on what to do to mine. Just black or get the M style mirrors. I like the look of the M style mirrors. But they were not a standard option on the MY21 M40i so I am hesitant to do the retrofit.

Great so far - traction is good and the ride seems less harsh than with the runflats ( like running over a manhole cover - it's not a jarring experience now).
