Those tire sizes would be good with or without the spacers

Anyone else go 265/295 Michelin A/S combo? I’m looking for more recent feedback, as I’m likely going this route in the next 2 weeks.

What psi are you running on the 265/295 PS4 combo?

Are you going with the V or Y rated? Other than speed, I haven’t been able to determine any other difference.

What are your thoughts of the new setup?

I just got my X4M a couple months ago. I think I am going to put 295's on the rear and once the 255's wear out on the front, I will slap the 265's on just so I use them all.

You guys are aware that putting wider tires on the same rims will almost certainly reduce your cornering force and ultimate performance, right?

I now get them installed on Wednesday. Simple Tire delivered the tires a day late, so I had to reschedule.

I believe all these are ZR rated, however I recall they had two models in 295 35 21. I think I got the ones marked with 107Y....I will have to confirm this. I recall there was a weight and height difference between the two, so I pick the one that most closely matched the star rated 4S model.

I stopped by the shop to physically see the tires and I was impressed. Damn....these things are wide! I am nervous that they wont fit, but they are rated for a minimum width of 10"....

BTW....Tire Rack finally has these back in stock, and I see they lowered the price to $350.....not bad!

I assume the smartass above is not a tire engineer.

Well, I must admit putting bicycle tires on a 10" rim is going to be a bit of a challenge.

obviously directed at the only one posting the smartass comment. If people would like to engage in intelligent tire conversations, I'm in. How many other tire engineers do you have posting here? Not many I would guess.

Got the tires installed today. The fitment seems pretty good. The sidewalls are pretty much vertical. I only got the rears done, so it is hard to tell how the ride quality changed. Feels like a slight improvement over my contis. Overall grip feels better, however my old tires were at 2/32.

Overall pretty happy with these Pilot All Season 4s.

Mark, thank you for following up. Those look great. Like everything else, I’m sure there’s a trade-off. I also didn’t buy this vehicle with the intent to push it to the edge of its limits. With that said, mine go on this Friday.

So you get the “Premium Touch” side wall design with the All Seasons as well? interestingly, it was stated to me that they were not as as widely available as they used to be for the PS4s My Tirerack sales associate stated that the side wall design for the PS4S were only available in limited sizes(< I was aware) and soon to be continued all together.

Either way that’s a good look

My 295s have the same design but my 265s have the non checkered flag design.
