Those will be a sweet setup. What's that gonna cost you?

I was quoted $1880 USD for the full kit with 1 set of pads. Waiting on pricing with 3 sets of pads and extra bolts + aluminum hub ring. Just in case I’d like to have spares on the shelf.
Not sure about installation time, the brake lines should probably also be changed + full brake flush. Then there’s the rear axle that needs at least new pads and probably some rotors, and a matching powder coat treatment. Probably best not to do math |

bought these Brembos on the bay. they are a great price for a good setup, even though I would say they only improved 20%. I will look at upgrading to the x5 brakes next year for legit stopping power.

I 'll be upgrading to X5M brakes soon. I bought the calipers used on ebay last year but then ran into some issues when I purchased after market rotors from brakenetic.
You can read about it here https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1572371 I just purchased OEM F85 Rotors albeit at double the cost of the brakenetic ones, which is why I waited so long to get them. They should be arriving today. I'll be reaching out to hardparker for the bolts and spacers and will start a new thread with pics once they arrive.

Not that I've seen. I've meant to search the DSC the next time I do a coding session, but I think it's unlikely, since there was no brake upgrade option for the X3. Still, I wonder if there might be tuneable parameters for brake assist to help pedal feel.

Thanks for your informations, spucktacular
I'm planning at the moment an upgrade to 374x36. Is it necessary to modify the brake-pads ? I've see a lot of videos and pictures which is shown that the brake-pads are too big for the M5 (E60) brake-discs. With regards |
